Whether you just need a new prescription for your glasses or have been experiencing eye irritation, it’s important that you get the help you need as soon as possible so that you can continue living comfortably and with clear vision.
At Schroeder Eye Care, LLC, we put our patients’ vision and well-being first. Dr. T Chris Schroeder received his optometry degree from Nova
Southeastern College of Optometry in 2002, and has been dedicated to serving the South Florida community ever since. He founded Schroeder Eye Care in 2004, and over the last 20 years we’ve grown into a vision center that West Palm Beach residents trust and depend on.
In his 22 years of experience, Dr. Schroeder has helped all kinds of patients with a variety of different eye care issues, and he’ll work hard to make sure that your vision is the best that it can be.

How We Can Help You
At Schroeder Eye Care, we believe that getting an eye exam should never feel like an ordeal. You shouldn’t have to drive miles and miles out of your way, struggle to schedule an appointment at an office with limited hours, or deal with an unfriendly staff. That’s why we’ve done everything we can to make an appointment at Schroeder Eye Care a good experience.
We’re open 5 days a week with doctors’ hours going as late as 6 pm. The adjacent Vision Center is open 6 days a week with hours as late as 7 pm, meaning that you’ll have no problem filling a prescription for glasses, sunglasses, or contact lenses after visiting us. Check out the Vision Center after an appointment with us if you need vision-related items such as polarized sunglasses, reading glasses, transitional lenses, progressive lenses, sports frames, safety frames, color contact lenses, toric contact lenses, and multifocal contact lenses.

We believe that everyone in our West Palm Beach community should be able to get good eye care at a reasonable price. We accept major insurance providers such as Care Credit, Sunshine, Prestige, Spectera, Davis, Superior and VSP, and we also charge very competitive fees. Even if you don’t have insurance, you’ll be able to afford our services. Not a native English speaker? That’s not a problem. We have fluent Spanish speakers on our staff, and we’d be happy to communicate with you in Spanish if that’s the language you’re most comfortable using. Our mission is to make our vision center as accessible as possible, because everyone deserves to get the eye treatment they need.
We’re conveniently located inside the airport Walmart Vision Center at the corner of Military Trail and Belvedere in West Palm Beach, making it incredibly easy for both locals and out-of-town visitors to come see us.

Get Clear Vision With Schroeder Eye Care
Comprehensive eye exams. If you believe that your vision has gotten worse and that you may need corrective lenses (or need an existing prescription updated), Dr. Schroeder can help you determine what lenses and prescription you need. During your eye exam we will also provide screenings for ocular health problems such as cataracts, corneal disease, and glaucoma.
Contact lens services. If you need a stronger prescription of contact lenses or want to switch from glasses to contact lenses for the first time, Schroeder Eye Care can help.
Eyes Not Feeling Their Best
Eye disease and irritation treatment. We are able to treat certain eye problems such as infections, dry eyes, allergies causing irritation, and foreign bodies in eyes.
Dilated eye exams. We offer dilated eye exams for patients with diabetes, high blood pressure, or other conditions that might affect their eyes and vision. We are able to diagnose, treat, or refer you to the proper specialist in order to get you seeing your best.

Laser eye treatment consultation. Wondering if laser eye treatment is right for you? We’d be happy to sit down with you, discuss the process, and let you know if it’s a good option for your eyes.
Specialist referrals. If you’re suffering from a serious eye problem that we cannot safely treat, we’ll be able to refer you to a specialist who is well-equipped to help you. If you don’t see your particular eye problem listed above, come see us anyway. We’ll try our best to resolve the issue, and if we can’t, we’ll definitely know someone who can.
